Which desi dish will taste better with sea salt and which one with rock salt ?

Whatever the kind of salt...but it must include iodine...

i think it's rock salt which is preferable. however i have heard that things are changing in west they are no switching over to sea salt as it gives alot of minerals.
I may be completely wrong above. But here in karachi , rock salt is most commonly used.
