Note from the artist: The mugs are based on the Tree Brain - and odd fungal growth in Steve’s front yard that had attained a very bizarre quasi-celebrity status. Ill give the finished sculptures a few days to firm up a bit so I can finish their bottoms (eew), followed by several weeks of slow drying, a bisque fire in the kiln, glaze application, and back in the kiln for a final glaze fire. I hope they make it!
