How much control does establishment have on police and judiciary?

I ask this because, being devil’s advocate, I would like to know two things;

1. Why SS fired his people after the incident. It (rightly or wrongly) gives impression that something is fishy.
2. Why government is reluctant to file FIR? They could have just let them file FIR and after investigation for a couple of days, it would be determined that none of the high profile people nominated in the FIR have any relation with the incident.

If you recall my posts after the incident.. I posted that the firing was started from MNJ secretariat. Now JIT report ins confirming that.

SS was visibly shaken because of the magnitude of human loss of life. He wanted the enquiry to be impartial, therefore asked the people directly in charge of the operation to resign.

After this JIT report.. I am very clear in my mind.. that all this was a staged scripted drama.. using TUQ as an accomplice. They needed bodies to topple otherwise highly poplar Punjab government. TUQ provided them these bodies.

FIR will be lodged.. it’s just a matter of time. It’s not about FIR.. they want heads rolling. These container top inqalabis will not budge whatever you give them They know their worth in a free and fair electoral process. That’s why they are trying to get some back door route to power.
