Coolmunda... i took a train from London to Edinburgh, it is like 4.5 hours and from there to Inverness by train again... that is around 3 hours... if you are with your loved ones, the travel is exciting as well... there is a direct train from London to Inverness as well.. but you have to book it very early to get a seat on it...
