Scotland Yard finds no solid evidence of match fixing

Re: Scotland Yard finds no solid evidence of match fixing

Its okay to jump out if you know how it all happened. Go thru the following, and you will have your answers

Was there some fixing?
Yes sure there were, thru Salman Butt

Why Aamer?
Because no one would suspect him because of the way he performed in the series

Why didn't Aamir refuse when Salman proposed this idea?
It's not easy to go against your captain specially when you are new. Rashid Latif and Basit Ali refused their captain Salim Malik and were dropped. Had Amir raised a red flag, none of ud would have believed him anyways.

Why did Salman decide to fix?
many reasons
1. He is not sure he will remain captain or part of the team after this dismal performances. Why not make some bucks.
2. If he is caught, there is a bright side. People would believe that everything was fixed and that Pak batting would have fared better otherwise. Salman knows more than anyone that thats not the case, but between "fixer" and "not good enough", he picked the former.
3. Fixing is hard to prove, since its all verbal contracts with no records. Salman knew there is a good chance he could come out clean. He just might be right, most likely he is.

Why he is not responding with yes or no, when asked about match fixing?
He does not wanna lie in ramzan. He would rather say its just allegation, until proof is presented. Keep in mind, he did not cheat in Ramzan either. Fixing happened before Ramzan started.

Well, except the last question, I totally agree with Robert.

I've no doubt, absolutely none, that Salman butt is the person involved either wayy.. Another person who is involved is Asif. It'll be a dark moment for Pakistani cricket when both of these will be cleared and come back to team cuz they'll do it again, and again and again till they are caught next time.
That'd really be interesting to see that if butt and others get freed from charges, will they sue the tabloid??? I think, NEVER :)
