**A large explosion has rocked an area of northern Afghanistan following a Nato airstrike on a stolen fuel tanker.**Reports citing officials and witnesses say there are casualties but the numbers are not yet confirmed.
Nato confirmed to the BBC that the explosion happened in Kunduz province on the main road to Baghlan.
District police chief Basharyar Parwani told AFP news agency that Taliban insurgents tried to drive away a fuel tanker that they hijacked on a highway.
