Scientists Convert CO2 into Solid Coal.....!

RMIT University researchers developed a new technique that can efficiently convert CO[SUB]2[/SUB] from a gas into solid particles of carbon at room temperature.

Will this method help to fight against climate change effectively in the future?

**The liquid Metal they are using is Galium alloyed with Cerium seems with an electrolyte present this converts CO2 into solid Carbon Nano Particles!

however it can also produce CO at higher Electric Charge! that still needs to be worked out because CO when burned becomes CO2 again…Bummer :disgust:**

You would need more electric energy to Convert to C or CO than you can get out of the converted C or CO. If this electricity comes from renewables, there is a case to be made for this process. Because no net CO2 is evolved.
