Scientist, Protein Delivery Formulations/Biomaterials

Responsibilities include:

  • Developing sustained delivery formulations for proteins and other
    macromolecules. Investigating the physical and chemical properties of a
    variety of therapeutic macromolecules and developing novel formulations for
    them.
  • Assessing and developing new delivery technologies and biomaterials.

Requirements include:

  • Ph.D. in chemistry, chemical or bioengineering, biochemistry, or
    materials science with 2-5 years of research or product development
    experience, preferably in the pharmaceutical or biotechnology industries.
    Strong experimental and theoretical scientific training.
  • Must be creative and have demonstrated the ability to apply
    scientific training to solve practical problems, preferably in drug
    development. Experience with proteins and in developing pharmaceutical
    products is desirable. Effective at presenting/communicating technical
    information.
