science behind Noah's ark

Many of us have a faith on it, but for this thread sake, let’s all assume that it really happened.

What kind of science and technology could make it happen? If you have to investigate if it really happened (global flood, ark big enough to hold two of each animal, logistics of feeding them for forty days, etc); what kind of evidences would you look for?

Re: science behind Noah's ark

or How we can get the 'copy' of two of each animals on 300 cubits long (christian version) ark.
btw, the copy of human being you will create and send to other planet with teleportation, will need food to survive?

Re: science behind Noah's ark

The Hindu scriptures have no such record.

So it didn't happen.

Re: science behind Noah's ark

^Interesting...
Hindu scripture includes information of every religion, even of those religions that came after "Hinduism"?

Re: science behind Noah's ark

That is why they are scriptures.

Re: science behind Noah's ark

I think It does.

Re: science behind Noah's ark

Was watching Zakir Naik. He mentioned the scriptures name Mohammed as the Avatar. Double Sri Ravi Shankar confirmed it. And they showed the verse in Sanskrit.

So yes, your messenger theory seems to be shared by Mr. Naik.

Re: science behind Noah's ark

Its not my theory I heard it from youtube aswell. Then It was telling the verses as well.

Once we have verse and people of that tradition agree its there, then we can look at it our selves.
Then its no more theory, its little information for a layman to extract results.
Thanks for your attention

Re: science behind Noah's ark

Nice touch on the && operator.

I did see the Sanskrit verse. I have to get the translation to see why that verse means. With multiple words, it can be attributed to sheer coincidence that a name matches.

The pleasure is all mine. Allow me to tip my cap.

PS never say bye.
PS2 - I don't have a PS2

You send that copy only to places that you know would have similar resources, so enough food should be there.

About Hindu scriptures - Noah’s flood had to happen before the scripture was written, so Southie had a fair argument saying that if it’s not in r scripture, it probably did not happen

You can copy resources as well?

why?
i think southie considers hinduism the oldest religion.

Re: science behind Noah's ark

I hear that in quran its more likely a local big flood.
In that case we should give Christians/jews a little break, if with out satellite imagery and without weather map, they thought flood was over all the world.

Re: science behind Noah’s ark

“The progeny of Adamis and Hevas (Adam and Eve) soon became so wicked that they were no longer able to coexist peacefully. Brahma therefore decided to punish his creatures “Vishnu” [right] ordered Vaivasvata to build a ship for himself and his family. When the ship was ready, and Vaivasvata and his family were inside with the seeds of every plant and a pair of every species of animal, the big rains began and the rivers began to overflow.”

Re: science behind Noah's ark

Very good idea.

Ajaz, though you answered your own question, but Noah's flood destroyed the whole civilization, and mankind restarted after the flood. So anything that is written in this world, must have been written after the folks flood. There was nothing from pre Noah time that existed

Re: science behind Noah's ark

Monk has a valid point.
The bold part could be subject to what was considered "whole civilization" then.

Whole as on whole, everything, every living being. If we believe in anything less than that, then it's not accordance to Quran, right?

Re: science behind Noah's ark

Also I read torah, noah was few generations down from adam, in that case whole civilization could not have been spread across the whole world any ways...

Re: science behind Noah's ark

Well quran does not mention the length and number of animals.
The word 'All' could be subject to interpretation like, all you have.

So are you guys saying that only a part of the world was flooded?
