As you all know in Pakistan, once you enter a school u have to spend 10-11 years at the same place. I remember when I was in junior section, I use to think that I have so many more years to spend in this school before i get out of it. I spend 11 years in the same school (no i didn’t repeat any class, just started from Prep ) and it wasn’t easy. Towards the end, I was so tired that i hated my school and just wanted to get out. There were other reasons behind that but spending 11 years was a major factor! I got bored.
So what I want to know is that is it good to go to same school for that long or is it better to change schools?
I went through the totally opposite thing.. I kept changing my schools because of my parents job and then moving out of the cities every now and then. Personally, I liked it , however, my sister hated it. I guess it all depends on the person's perspective of adopting the new environment as quick as possible or getting bore of sticking into the same school.
I made hundreds of friends, on the other hand my sis would have just one friend per school. :-D
by the way I did my 3rd and 4th grade in Lahore...where were you at that time??? ;-)
i spent 10 years in one school [2nd grade-11th grade] and even now sometimes when i think of the good times i get tears in my eyes
it was the best 10 yrs of my life. had a close and steady group of friends. by the time i graduated i was in the student government and most teachers and students knew me. it felt like a second home.
the day i left the school i was weeping literally. i love that school to bits. even now when i sometimes go there i get overwhelmed by fond nostalgia.
i have similar feelings about my college where i spent 5 yrs. loved it to bits. and loved it more as time passed.
i think it would depend from case to case. ive seen people who would give anything to stay in one school till they finish e.g. are children of people with jobs that make them move from place to place, they don't settle and miss out on the fun of having close friends, familiar environments, strong connections. I do however agree with your point that staying in one place can be boring. but i believe you still end up missing the place once youre out.

-changes are good to do! but since joiningg new school/college is totally change of environment ,make new friends,adjust yourself and it becomes awkward.
-I have’nt seen/met my school friends more than 4 years!
-when you reach at college/uni level you get too much busy in work kuch hoosh nahi rahta.
