I had my heart set on this Mani/Pedi kit but read some not so good reviews about it on amazon..

Can you suggest a tested mani/pedi kit? Is there any other company with a better product?

They have such great foot scrubs and creams! :(

I know. My mother uses some of their products, like a jello kind of toe protector to protect her diabetic feet and it works well for her.

Apparently this product isn't powerful enough, maybe I'll get the manual thingies if I can figure them out someday:D

Just use a pumice stone and foot scrub and vaseline! WHAT manual thing?!

well u can use petrolium jelly too i used it for really bad cracked heels n it really cured it after 5 days.just do it daily n would take around 30 minutes but in last its worthwhile to see ur foot beautyful n healthy.1st wash ur feet n scrub it with pumice stone then dry n apply petrolium jelly liberally n wear socks for overnight then wash it with warm water n again use pumice stone.becarefull here as it doesnt wash easily so u need to take it off first with tissue or cotton.

I do that already. I am talking about those thingies to maintain nails..cuticle remover, buffer(?) etc..I need to do some research on it..dunno the exact names :D

I am a bit scared to go to saloons and let them use their non-sterilized stuff on my feet and hands.

MM...some of the better ones use sterilized equipment at least mashAllah I have never had an infection or anything due to equipment used or the way they do the services....let me know maybe we can go together....:D
