Scholarship

Re: Scholarship

** But if your mother is there then why not? (In no way I am saying this for the Prophet (PBUH). **

You're contradicting yourself.

Re: Scholarship

You have been spoonfed much???

Seriously, you need to take a break....go somewhere....hajj...

Re: Scholarship

So now you still can't explain the contradiction, and therefore, the solution is for me to go on Hajj?

Classic.

Re: Scholarship

MashAllah.

InshAllah you will understand by reading this thread over and over.

Re: Scholarship

Ok, I will have to explain every bit I say..

what i meant was that when u have ur mother and have the opportunity to be raised up by her then why not let it be so?! Allah wills everything for the best. Allah knows best.

Re: Scholarship

Ok. So, I need to visit some sunni website you sent me, then I need to go to Hajj, then come back and read this thread over and over, and somehow I'll learn that humans should NOT do what the Prophet did.

Re: Scholarship

How the HECK did the Prophet NOT have the opportunity to be raised by his own mother? And did he, later on in life, admonish Halima for raising him and not promptly sending him back to his mother? Did he admonish the Bedoin for having the practice of taking other ladies' children and raising them?

Re: Scholarship

THAT is the concept of scholarship!!! You need to explain everything and then back it up with proof, and then EFFECTIVELY counter-argue any contradicting evidence that someone is throwing at you. Telling someone to go to Hajj is not an effective counterargument.

Re: Scholarship

You havn't grown up on the streets have you?

--
anyways, all those question you asked, the simple answer to those are;
**
Allah wills everything for the best. Allah knows best.

**upto you to ponder over it and inshALLAH you will come to an answer.

Re: Scholarship

Humans should also do what prophet(pbuh) said in countless ahadees......

Re: Scholarship

^ PCG he was raised by halima(ra) but this war n orm of the makkah culture where children were sent in free and natural atmosphere of villages and deserts where they growup in the natural circumstances an the most importantly learn the real arabic language as these tribes were consisdered to be the "Fusha-i-Arabs" at that time...and i think no need to tell that how mch touchy the arabs about thier languange as they used to call "ajmi" or "goonga" who o not speak arabic !!!!!!

it has nothing to do that mothers of that time do not take care of thier children !!!!!

Re: Scholarship

and cricketplaya is 100% right...regarding deep in-sight into the islam and fiqh issues..sunniforum is an excellent site....

Re: Scholarship

Right, so its the norm of THIS time to also send off their kids to a thing we call "daycare" where they can learn the real language of the region. The daycares are considered to be "education centers" at this time. I think there is no need to tell you how much touchy people are about their kids' education as they call kids "dumb" if they're not rattling off their numbers and ABCD's and socially ept.

It has nothing to do that mothers of this time do not want to take care of their children!!!!

Re: Scholarship

lol, when did we say that? still i consider a Muslim home is best for the child. After all you will be questioned about your children... is it better to say I raised him/her up as a Muslim or is it better to say I paid someone to raise my kid up as a 'part' of the society...

this doesn't mean that daycare is a bad place.

Re: Scholarship

Alhamdulilah.
