schizophrenia is a spectrum of disorders. it’s not just 1 solid thing. but almost all the cases do have either auditory or visual hallucinations, as well as a feeling persecution. those that are not catatonic, their speech makes no sense at all. i mean really it doesn’t (more so than yours shak ;)) as for a cure, there isn’t one really. you can subside the symptoms and control them but so far there hasn’t been a medication made that can cure it like it’s any other ailment. there is a lot of research going on it at the moment, so maybe who knows in another, 10, 15 years?
