Scenes with tense dialogues

I was watching the movie, The Bounty last night (I think it’s a remake of Marlon Brando’s Mutiny on the Bounty). There was this one scene that was quite amusing–to me at least. The commander of the ship, Anthony Hopkins replaces Daniel Day-Lewis with Mel Gibson as second-in-chief officer of the ship. There is a heated exchange of dialogue between Hopkins and Day-Lewis that’s just marvelous.

The added effect was the fact that both had Brit accent and were speaking 18th century “polite and civil” yet “offcial” sort of language. That was pretty good.

The other such scene I can think of is the court room exchange between Tom Cruise and Jack Nickolson in A Few Good Men.

Got any?

Few good men is still better...

Thanks for the insight. As usual it was pathetic.

frankly my dear i dont give a damn

I remembered another one. There is some awesome exchange between Gene Hackman and Danzel Washington in Crimson Tide. That’s a great entertaining movie :k:
