what else could a person wish for
I tried driving back from North York from East York (Thorncliffe Park Drive area) . It was the toughest drive I've had since coming to Canada, it was even harder than that storm on 22nd Jan. I'm glad I stumped up the extra cash for a car with traction control, because on the inside roads every so often I could feel the car slide around and the traction control light would blink like crazy while the car fought it.
Saw 2 accidents on the 401. In one a car had actually flipped 180 on the inside lane of the 401 westbound express and slammed into the barrier separating the express and collector's .... facing backwards!
dyamn just drove back from missisauga and had the longest drive back normally it takes me aroun 30-35 minutes to come back but it took me around an hour 20 minutes becus thanx to the snow storm the visibility is really poor and and the highway is so slippery i couldnt go over 30-40 km/hr and trust me i am not over exagerating :D
cleaning the snow off the car after work in the morning was a female-dog, after that it was just calmness and skills.. COULD NOT enjoy more :-) seeing cars slipping and crashing and padestrians 'oh f***' running, and buses not stopping and..
well get the image :-)
made two new friends, one from work, dropped him off, and nearby his place was this junior-timmies, cashier was kinda friendly and cute.... turned out we went to same highschool, so started chatting away as it wasnt busy at all.. when the next guy came in, i left..
There is something seriously wrong with the weather system. Cold here seems to be staying. In February, I have never had experienced this cold. Infact on 15th Feb which is the beginning of Spring, I was glad to see sun shining only to see clouds beating the warmth of the day right that night. It rained like crazy for three days afterwards. Today, it has been sunny but this freaking cold is still out here.
Is this because of the Tsunami or what? Anyone shade light please.
