This is just an alternative to Jasoos’s thread. This incident is totally fictitious, and I haven’t experienced this, nor has anyone else I know, FYI.
What if you found out years later that an old GF of yours had conceived your child, but she had an abortion, and never told you about it? And that baby was yours?

This is kinda different but sorta the same. My uncle got married in pakistan and he came here (U.S.) about two months after the wedding. While he was here, his sister in law called him and said that his wife had an abortion while he was away. He was very upset and he didn't call her for three months. She was calling him everyday but he wouldn't talk to her. She said that her mother had pressured her into having an abortion cause she was scared that her husband wouldn't take her to the U.S. My uncle went back to Pakistan swearing he would divorce her. Over there, they decided to have a baby instead :) so I guess they worked it out.
