I have dry scabs on my scalp and if I scratch clear liquid starts coming out. I’m sorry if it sounds gross but i’m worried. I used to get these 3-4 years ago after which I lost a lot of hair. I was given some medicated shampoo which did not work at all. Do any of you know anything about how to get rid of them? Is it a sign of dandruff or eczema? I had eczema a few years ago

The only thing that comes to mind right now is vinegar and water solution. Vinegar helps to balance ph of the skin and is used to treat dandruff and dry/itchy scalp. Try ACV (apple cider vinegar) Make a solution of half vinegar and half water and rinse your hair with it. Try it a couple of times and see if that helps. If not, consult a dermatologist.

it could be folliculitis, and depending on severity of it it can cause permanent hairloss in patches.
it could be something else as well, but the sooner you go see a dermatologist the better.

It could be seborrhea. Don't know about white liquid but I get blood when I scratch. I use Selson Blue, it seems to help.

I don't get white stuff i have clear stuff and if i scratch some more then it'll be blood.
Some shampoo's make it worse, some don't, In fact i find if i apply coconut oil my head starts itching and i have to scratch it till it peels.
Psoriasis..or seborrhoeic dermatitis. usually shampoo's with coal tar, salicylic acid and sulphar are prescribed. You should have it checked-out.. to rule either one out.

That's what I get too, clear liquid.
I get something like what you are saying. I wash my hair every other day. on the second evening after the wash, my scalp gets oily and i get these tiny bumps (daanaay) on my scalp and when i pop them i get a clear liquid out too. I think it's called hyper active sebaceous gland.

Like hell:s I start scratching them like a mad person and end up with scabs all over my scalp
