sony jee first of all welcome… second.. no sayonee is not a muslim name… but it really doesnt matter cause if u can keep it as ur middle name… Now my real name is Italian and first name is muslim… so it really depends on u

SayoNee is basically a Punjabi phrase composed of two words
Sayo = Se’hail’yian (Urdu) Friends (English)
Nee = Ar’ri (Urdu) Oh’my or You (English)
Basically it means "Oh’my Friends ". I never heard any body with this name so far. I personally beleive that name has some effects on person. So it is also recomended in Ahadees that name should have good meaning.

Bookworm my heart loves that name....maybe becos of the song...but it may not be appropriate. Personally I wd use the name, but hubby will not approve...it has to be a muslim name.

Just because it's not a name from the Quran doesn't mean that it's not a muslim name. Sayonee has a nice meaning, it doesn't appear to be a name affiliated to any particular religion though but it doesn't mean that a muslim couldn't be named Sayonee.

Suggest to ask some one locally to narrate the correct spelling in English and Urdu.
IMO it is = Sei’yonee
