<Saying Of The Week>

A saying by Imam Ali (As);

Every week, in this forum, there will be different Hadith and Sayings narrated from various religious personalities (Ahlul Bayt, Sahabas, etc.) in this thread. The sayings will be concerning various aspects of religion and daily life such as Ikhlaq, Iman, studies, etc. hence, if you would like to contribute any of your own collection, PM them to the religion mods and they may also be put up for the next update. However, please make sure you provide the basic source (name, book) and they are generally suitable in content.

Hope we will all benefit equally from this thread, inshallah. :slight_smile:

Saying Of The Week (3)

He ordered us to visit the sick, to follow funeral processions, (to say) to a sneezer, May Allah bestow His Mercy on you, if he says, Praise be to Allah, to accept invitations, to greet (everybody), to help the oppressed and to help others to fulfill their oaths.

He forbade us to wear gold rings, to drink in silver (utensils), to use Mayathir (silken carpets placed on saddles), to wear Al-Qissi (a kind of silken cloth), to wear silk, Dibaj or Istabraq (two kinds of silk).
