Say you have free internet but you cant use FB or Youtube or view any restricted website. How can you spend time all day?
These days we have nothing in the world to do at work since the project is at hold and i want safer options to spend time on. GS of course is one so far!

How about taking up an online game. There’s one that I used to play, Ikariam. The environment there is awesome and many players take it very seriously.

all the site are restricted in my office even online games are also blocked....so i use GS read all the threads all day :D*

I would browse the net for clothes, accessories, makeup n stuff, play bejeweled, browse GS, read online magazines and newspapers etc

^We have gotten really smart over time. Even proxies don't work anymore. A service like websense can easily "sense" a proxy and block it. :p

Yes, very few might work though. I haven't had a single one that worked. I don't need to anymore. My access isn't restricted.

Why don't you use this time for your professional development ? There is tons of material on the internet which you can use for that purpose.

I am a parent and have kids who need to be reminded that there are more important things in this world like their future life as opposed to joy of today.

The problem is my seat and specially my screen is visible to half the office.
