who is this guy and why is it such a big deal to ask him? maybe then i can help u.....otherwise yes i agree ask about his hs or college.....like for example if u know someone who went to that school or not make it up...liek oh my freind went there do u know her? say what year did u graduate...then be like oh she graduated after nevermind. simple.
