bakwaas is the closest word i suppose

jaise kahte ahiN k boring day thaa yani bakwaas din thaa, boring person ko bakwas aadmii kahte haiN

the Ccorrect word is Bid’a [urdu meN [COLOR=blue]bid’at kahte haiN]

Maaloomat is Knowledge, not information.

General Knowledge is translated to Maaloomat-e-aam'ma in Urdu.

Boriyat is an urdu word.

Bored has the same root. I am not sure if the urdu word entered the English language or vice versa

Maybe Uktaana be the right word then for bored. Bakwaas does not seem right.
