On January 1, 2008 two beautiful and intelligent girls departed from this world after being shot by their father in Irving, Texas.

This is the 5th death of student in our community in the last year..

Please take a minute out of your busy day to say a prayer for these wonderful girls, Sarah and Amina Yaser Said, age 17 and 18.

No one deserves to die this way. It’s truly horrifying how easily a father can kill his own children.

When Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) brought the message of Islam to the world, there were millions of evils he was setting upon to fight. One horrible darkness among the many was the disgusting attitude the men of Arabia had toward female human beings- before the advent of Islam, female infanticide was a common and accepted practice; men had their baby daughters buried alive because having sons was seen as being more auspicious and financially advantageous. Among the many social diseases Islam would seek to abolish, the killing of female children was condemned in the Qur’an as a crime worthy of eternal damnation, and Prophet Muhammad (pbuh) and his wife Lady Khadija were known to provide shelter for mothers who feared for their daughters’ lives.

“And when the female infant buried alive is asked
For what sin she was killed,
And when the books are spread,
And when the heaven has its covering removed,
And when the hell is kindled up,
And when the garden is brought nigh,
Every soul shall (then) know what it has prepared.”
(Qur’an 81:8-14)

Unfortunately, the poison that brought the savage pagan Arabs of yesterday to slaughter their own flesh and blood is one that humankind will never be rid of.

These horrific incidents make one think..
life is so very temporary, no one is bulletproof. We should be thankful for every single day we have to live.

May Allah grant them a place in Jannat and give all who knew and loved them the strength and patience to cope. May Allah tallah save each and every one of us from such atrocity. Ameen :rose:

Innalillaahi Wa Inna Ila’ehi Rajeoon.

Itna zulm aur jahalat dekh ke bohot takleef hoti hai… especially when ppl pertaining to our religion do it… I find it incomprehensible as to how a father could remotely hurt his kids, let alone take their lives :teary2: If only ppl knew could grasp the repercussions of such a sin :frowning:

Manhunt for Father Suspected of Killing Teen Girls

IRVING, Texas — Police continued searching for a man suspected of shooting his two teenage daughters, including one who called 911 about an hour before officers found them dead in his taxi, police said

Yaser Abdel Said, 50, of the Dallas suburb of Lewisville, is accused of shooting Sarah Yaser Said, 17, and Amina Yaser Said, 18, in his taxi Tuesday night and abandoning it in a parking lot, leaving them to die.

Police have not released a motive for the shootings, the Fort Worth Star-Telegram reported in its online edition Wednesday.

One of the teens called 911 on a cell phone about 7:30 p.m. Tuesday and said she was shot, but she couldn’t tell police where she was, Irving police said.

Officers were dispatched to the area, which turned out to be about half a mile from the taxi, but didn’t find anyone, The Dallas Morning News reported in its online edition Wednesday. Police found the taxi with the bodies inside an hour later after a witness called and reported a suspicious vehicle in a hotel parking lot, said David Tull, an Irving police spokesman.

Police described Yaser Abdel Said as about 6-foot-2, weighing about 180 pounds with black hair and brown eyes. He was last seen wearing a black turtleneck shirt or sweater, a brown coat and tan pants. He is believed to be armed with a handgun, police said.

That is so sick. Now why did he need to kill them…

These so called psycho muslim fathers need to find another hobby. Maybe kill themselves instead and do the world a favor. I'm sure there are hoors waiting in hell for these haramzadas.

apparently the motive was because the girls had non-muslim boyfriends.

the ironic part is that their mom was white and non-muslim. hypocrite.

it's horrible how this is becoming common. ppl have lost a sense of humanity.

There are thousand and one incidents around where people from other culture/nationality/religion killed their kids, and that also not on the name of religion but because either kids were crying or they wanted to have sex and boyfriend left because of kids being around.

There are crazy people every where.

apparantly the dad had this all planned out, he cleared all the bank accounts before he left..

so the mother and son are left to pay for the funeral
