Dunno where have you been living for the last 20 years.
Pakistan has always tried to show that it is a "great transit route" between Central Asia and the rest of the world.
Here are some "general" examples for ya.
- Pakistan actively worked with India and Iran to be the transit route for Iranian gas
- Pakistan has just launched a Pak-Iran-Turkey train.
- Pakistan has been working for the last 2 decades to set up pipelines and electricity lines between Central Asia and Arabian Sea/India.
Often time the hard $$$ take precedence over old prejudices.
So yeah we should take great care so as Indian RAW doesn't take advantage of this "trade" facility and turns it into some anti-Pakistan spying mission.
But other than that, it is perfectly OK to allow Indians, Chinese, Americans, Sri lankans, and Somalians the trade transit through Pak soil.
