I know most of you have seen it a long time ago but i been always this close to watching it but never did. Today the day finally came.
For those of you who don’t know the music is composed by Peter Gabrial and one of the play back voice is by late Ustad Nusrat Fateh Ali Khan.
Though, the movie features playback by various singers around the world by NFAK got the sweet deal from all of them. As soon as you pop in the DVD (The Critarion Collection) his play back starts playing. And his voice is played back in one of the most powerful scene of the movie, the crusifaction of Christ.
Listening to Peter’s interview, he talked more about NFAK than any other singer and said the he knew there was only one extraoridnary voice that could played (in his openion) for that scene and that was of the great legend.
Movie was really outstanding, just like Martin’s any other project.
