Re: SAVING the life of or Healing a Bird/s
No, but I have injured many birds (when I was young) and I really feel very bad for doing that.

I hope by the term** Birds**..... ya mean vertebrate animals that lay eggs :@:

^ Even if she means chicks, I’ve hurt them too ![]()
I recall atleast one incident.
My mom bought me a pair of Choozay
one dark pink and one yellow…
The pink one was eaten by the cat in few days ![]()
So, I started looking after the yellow one…
One day, one of my elder sisters stepped over its leg ![]()
The chooza started limping… I was sad ![]()
so I put iodex and covered up its leg by a piece of cloth… in three days with constant rubbing of iodex and changing of the bandage, it started walking like a normal chooza ![]()
I was so happy… It turned out to be a Hen when it grew up… !!!
Re: SAVING the life of or Healing a Bird/s
This bird was stuck in the chimney which led to my dads bedroom, so it was stuck in the wall and every day for like 3-4 dayz we could hear sumthing, didnt kno if it was a cat or a bird. So we called the RSPCA n they sed just let it die coz we hav to break the wall to let it out. We left it for tht day, n then the next day my dad removed the wallpaper from where he could hear the noise n he broke the wall down, well made a hole in his wall by taking few bricks out n found tht it was a bird, n it was still alive so we set it free.. and everyone lived happily ever after ![]()
Alyish, i did not mean saving 'poor weak men' for this thread's purpose!
i meant birds that have wings from parakeets to owls.
alright.

Actually I meant little kids of ms. hen, but yea, same thing.
We had 2 cute little chicks. We didn't know that a cat was after them. One day we weren't home and mom was home by herself and the chick kept going here and there and kept putting its beak into food. Mom got sick and tired and picked up the chick and tied it's leg with a rope with a leg of the bed so it can't go everywhere.
That was the golden chance that the cat had been waiting for. The cat attacked the chick and it couldn't run anywhere. By the time mom came to rescue it, the cat had eaten it. Then we were left off with just one chick.
One day I came home on my bike and kicked the door open with my leg while I was on the bike. I didn't know that the chick is running around in the house. As soon as the door opened, I rode the bike in and I ran over the other chick. It got injured. Then mom put some haldi (or something) etc. on it's leg and body but it really couldn't get better. Then to end its misery, I took it to the butcher around the corned and he halalified it.
Re: SAVING the life of or Healing a Bird/s
yes.
I was working on the store a gori from across the street came and told me that bird was stuck from his leg in roof's tiles.
I Told her that I was working. she was like"you will leave him there to die" I told her to call animal protection her self.
But during the discussion I started feeling bad for the bird. I told her to wait I will do some thing. BY-ch said "I have to go back to work".
But any how I pulled ladder out and reach the top and pulled bird out. but one of his finger on his paw was broken. But he flew away.
Next time that gori came I almost yelled at her. Asked her If she was so concerned why couldn't she stay?

Once when I was young we found a bird in the park that was hurt and our grandfather took it to a vet with us. I dont remember what happened to it after that
Another time we found a sparrow whose wings were hurt and its couldnt fly, my dad brought it home and nursed it and then set it free after a while when it was better
Once in Pakistan we found a kabutar whose wings were hurt and we took it to someone's house and they made some haldi paste for it and wrapped it up. It died soon after
