I guess they would need nuclear energy once they run out of oil and cant generate energy out of dried dates.

Because they are getting paid many many millions, if not billions

remeber the nuclear network , with AQ Khan taking the fall for the generals involved

Spending money like water is in their nature even if they see no return .
They like to be superior in the region.

Business is business. Whatever we think of KSA, it is the holyland-the blessed land of the 2 mosques, and thus we are obligated to help in its defence anyway possible.

If Iran went nuclear, Saudi Arabia would have to. Does it have anything to do with Iran's disclosure of AQ Khan co-operation in Iran's nuclear project?

all the islamic countries are playing stupid here, they shouldnt go for re inventing the wheel.

the need is to make a common nuclear defence deal among all. kids just want to go nuclear.

WHY KSA want to go nuclear cause they have seen the condition of Iraq next door and they dont want that. same reason goes for IRan.

But nuclear ambitions of Iran started somewhere in 1987 or 1988....of KSA in mid 1990. Joint nuclear defense deal will be the same thing as the corrent situation.

Couldnt we set up a joint onwership or something whereby we are obligated to allow them to use our nuclear stocks incase they face a nuclear threat-in return for huge monetary windfalls.

They have both denied it recently, but I dont see why we shouldnt be able to use our Nuclear technology to help a friendly country... We havent signed the NPT and Americas deal with India opens up all kinds of doors.

I asked this question before, why should'nt Saudis have nukes? Isreal has them, Iran will soon. Saudi is a regional player no doubt and has the money. Theres no issue of preventing nations from nukes anymore, it is not reasonable to block development.
