How long will you keep lying to yourself as I mentioned henchmen of sunnis came all the way to Karachi to kilL Abdullah Shah ghazi a shia sufi who till date is worshippe in karachi.. yes that henchman was Muhd Bin Qasim.. ......
Meray bhai from India. Can you go easy on clobbering the history??????
----- Mohammad Bin Qasim was 7th century general.
----- Abdullah Shah Ghazi was 9th century saint.
Why do you want to get laughed about the pathetic history eduction being imparted in Hindustani schools?
Re: Saudis give silent nod to Israel regarding Iran
Shia power is on the rise. With the toppling of the Iraqi regime, Hezbollah the junior partner in Lebanon, and the alliancewith Syria, Iran has deftly maximized it's influences in the region.
I think it would be extremely foolish for any Sunni country to support Israel over Iran. Lets not forget that Hezbollah (with Iranian support) is the only arab group/nation to give Israel a drubbing, Iran's commitment to the Palestinian cause can not be doubted, and it occupies a strategic natural resource/geographic positin in the Gulf.
Re: Saudis give silent nod to Israel regarding Iran
mercenary
Hezbollah is mainly a sunni group and Iran is supporting it against the zionists, right? So how can you say that we hate each other more than Israilis?

Inherent contradiction is every where in ummah world..
Take for instance the case of Abdullah Shah Ghazi the sufi saint whose dargah is most famour and revered in karachi..
Guess who killed him......None other than the must felicitated person in Pakistan Muhd BIN Qasim..
And guessunder who kingdom he was prpotected and preaching his faith without being disturbed.. Much maligned character in Pakistan that is the Hindu King Dahir who incidentally was also killed by Qasim...
So how do people reconcile with these sort fo conflicting historical tales on that side of the border is beyond me..
Bo hoo hoo. I thought Islam was brought to the sub-continent by Muhammad bin Qasim. Where did this sufi sahib appear from? Plus, Dargahs have no place in Islam, they may be popular among jahils on both side of the borders, however, bear no importance in real Islam.
I am sure Dahir was such a saint that his actions/inaction against the pirates looting the ships, taking women and children as prisoners had nothing to do with the attack by the Muslim ruler Hajjaj.

I say we all step back and see the show.
Sadly, its not the commitment to the Palestinian people it is the commitment to power in the region and wider Islamic world. It is a power struggle between two non-powers which is being played out in the streets of Pakistan, Afghanistan, Iraq and soon others to follow. If Iran is interested in the plight of the muslims, it would never have meddled in Baluchistan (See Bugti and Company). So dont be so naive and think that Iran will help the muslims, it will use the religion to gain sympathy but will always act in its own best interest.

I am not doubting Iranian self-interest in regards to Palestinian issue, but lets talk about results: A local guerrilla organization was able to inflict more harm on Israel than 3 arab powers in 2 wars, what does that tell you? Iranian power is credible.
Speaking of self-interest and the Palestinian issue, arab governments have also acted in their best interests (black September/Camp David) but for what its worth the Khomeinist regime has not wavered.
Re: Saudis give silent nod to Israel regarding Iran
May be you guys have missed this
Saudi Arabia and Kuwait have made swift and clear denials over press reports that Israeli warplanes would be allowed to fly in their airspace during an attack on Iran.
An informed Saudi official branded the reports “stupid”, and a “pathetic way (from Israel) to gain some recognition from some Arab countries or Muslim countries” through giving the impression that it has communications with the Kingdom.
However, these Arab and Muslim countries “didn’t buy it”, the official said.
“Of course, Saudi Arabia would never open its air space and land to a friendly country to launch an illegal attack on another country, let alone to open its space for a country that doesn’t have any relationship with Saudi Arabia,” the official explained to Gulf News Gulfnews: Riyadh, Kuwait denies green light for Israeli planes to use airspace
