The Muslim ban. I wonder why poor Muslims empathize and identify with greedy selfish people who exploit children in poor Muslim countries. I think we should appreciate the support from the Jewish organizations.
Re: Saudis are quiet and Jewish Organisations are protesting…
tha banned countries were hardly sending any people to the usa anyway, and its pretty much impossible to get usa visas from many of those countries at the moment.
Besides it was that black guy obama who was responsible for many of these initiatives. Yet we blame trump for it…this was in the works for like 2 yrs already…
Re: Saudis are quiet and Jewish Organisations are protesting…
It is setting a precedence, they are blocking dual citizens also. Maybe banning is the first step and if that goes thru than deporting could be the next.
Re: Saudis are quiet and Jewish Organisations are protesting…
**That is why The Jews would be objecting because they all have Dual Citizenship Right?
**
Re: Saudis are quiet and Jewish Organisations are protesting…
Not in that sense, it is like if you are a British Iranian then you might not be allowed in. They are decrying the human rights aspect as they had been targeted by Nazis and feel the need to protest against fascism.
Re: Saudis are quiet and Jewish Organisations are protesting…
I agree with the second part regarding appreciating the support from the Jewish organizations (or any other organizations, groups etc. for that matter). How exactly do you see poor Muslims identifying/empathizing with Saudis though? I’m not saying it doesn’t happen, just asking you to elaborate what you’ve observed.
Re: Saudis are quiet and Jewish Organisations are protesting…
It seems that Saudis are the masterminds and financiers of many radical groups and the poor Muslims join these groups and pay a big price, but when it comes to supporting Muslims they are not that generous. Pakistanis, Bangladeshis etc go insane supporting the Arab causes but they hardly ever mention Kashmir and Myanmar. They hold 700B plus US debt and could use that as leverage but they don’t care.

Now the western news media is noticing notable Muslim countries being quiet. Here is the excerpt
King Salman of Saudi Arabia, home of Islam’s holiest sites, spoke to Mr. Trump by telephone on Sunday but made no public comment. President Abdel Fattah el-Sisi of Egypt, whose capital, Cairo, is a traditional seat of Islamic scholarship, said nothing.
Even the Organization of Islamic Cooperation, a group of 57 nations that considers itself the collective voice of the Muslim world, kept quiet.

Google head despite a huge financial stake is brave enough to protest while King Salman hides in a hole..
On Monday afternoon, about 2,000 Google employees left their desks and took to the streets to protest President Donald Trump’s immigration ban.
This employee-led rally was attended by Google cofounder Sergey Brin, who addressed the crowd about his own experiences — Brin’s family came to the US as refugees from the Soviet Union when he was a child, at the height of the Cold War. His remarks, as captured on YouTube, took many jabs at Trump’s policies.
“So many people were obviously outraged by this order, as am I myself, being an immigrant and a refugee,” Brin told the crowd.
“I’m glad to see the energy here today and around the world to know that people are fighting for what’s right out there,” Brin continued.
“I think it’s important to not frame this debate as being ‘liberal’ versus ‘Republican’ and so forth,” Brin told the crowd. “It’s a debate about fundamental values, about thoughtful policymaking and many of the other things that I think are — apparently not universally adored — but I think the vast majority of our country and of our legislators and so forth support.”
You can read a transcript of Brin’s full remarks below, in which he calls for unity — and makes a joke about sporting a “Pence 2017” bumper sticker, which could be taken as a call for Congress to impeach Trump.
Of note is that while Brin and Google CEO Sundar Pichai spoke at this event, we’re told the official keynote speaker at the rally was Soufi Esmaeilzadeh, a Google product manager and Harvard Business School alum. Esmaeilzadeh is an Iranian-born Canadian citizen who has lived in the US for the past 15 years but had just landed in Switzerland when the order went into effect.
Re: Saudis are quiet and Jewish Organisations are protesting…
This is unbelievable, UAE is supporting the ban and Kuwait has done a ban of its own including Pakistanis. Many Arab countries are openly racist towards the less fortunate countries.
