In the name of expansion 95 % of historical sites have been destroyed in Makkah. The biggest difference between us and the west is that they understand the significance of history, they’ll protect historical buildings (even if they are 100 years old) and we have such a rich history and are destroying it by our own hands.

The thing that irks me is that when Saudi's do this, not a single muslim even comments. Yet, when a non-functioning mosque is destroyed in India, every Pakistani goes crazy with emotion.
Very sad. Even if you're not Muslim, even if you're non religious, these sites are places that are relevant to a man who has influenced billions of people. It's humanity's cultural heritage.
Both holy cities should be governed by a global Muslim organisation consist of representatives from all Muslim countries, and not by the Jack ass bunch of crown wearing Saudi royals who have pretty much hijacked the religion of Islam

that looks horrible, they got no respect for history because their own is a disgrace, who names a whole country after a family house of saud/ Saudi arabia!
