Saudia arrested 11 princes, 30 ministers

including Waleed bin Talal, the billionaire and biggest stake holder in citibank if I’m not wrong.

Its an apparent move to consolidate power for the king’s son

Full list those purged by the Regime: detainees include 30 Saudi Minsters, and many of the most influential businessmen in the Kingdom.

Re: Saudia arrested 11 princes, 30 ministers

Some big names…but I think most if all will go free but without their initial power.

Re: Saudia arrested 11 princes, 30 ministers

Honestly its a shocker no matter how soon they get out. Now mind you Prince Waleed bin Talal is the same guy Trump had a lil skirmish during election campaign but that could just be a small showoff.
While Current King’s 2nd is the best friend of Jared Kushner, Trump’s son-in-law.

Re: Saudia arrested 11 princes, 30 ministers

Totally agreed, its kind of sad how Saudi is also synonyms with corruption. Did you also hear about trump tweeting about getting Saudi Aramco in the NYSE?..I didn’t know they were going to make Saudi Aramco a public company.

Re: Saudia arrested 11 princes, 30 ministers

No I didnt hear. Earlier I was always confused as to who is making fool of whom as in Saudian Govt and Trump. But now it really looks like the division in the royal family is deepening and to this extent that arrests are made. So its no rocket science to deduce who might be suggesting all that

Re: Saudia arrested 11 princes, 30 ministers

Saudi aramco is planned to be IPO in 2018… major issue is the real valuation. Saudis epecting the valuation in ~ 2 trillions which is not reaching currently . In june it was near 500 billion…
Recent move of china ( offering straing 5 % ) may increase it. They r reluctent to offer the confidence level is high for touching 2 T.

Re: Saudia arrested 11 princes, 30 ministers

News is, Prince Waleed and others were planning to over-throw the currebt King and Crown Prince!!!

As Saudi dug deep, tfey found out that the group of arrested men had ties with Qatar and Yemen!!! Most importantly, it have now cleared ths roads for the crown prince!!! we have send string messages!!!

Re: Saudia arrested 11 princes, 30 ministers

That sounds like a legit reason but also shows how deep of the rift is within royal family. It hasnt happened for the first time but whats distinguishable is the big names that are included this time
