Saudi

ignore my nick etc not trolling

questions for those who are living or have lived there

  • how common is to have 4 wives?
  • i think women make up to 70 percent of those who enrolled in universities but only 5% of work force. Is it b/c they prefer not to work or it’s looked down upon or whatever?
  • How come women are NOT allowed to drive? i don’t think it’s becuz of islam cuz other islamic countries don’t have this rule. so, what is it?
  • how is it like to live down there for women?

– what do ppl think of saudi royal family?? any chance of riots, similar to the ones in egypt?

P.S i wouldn’t mind having four wives myself if they look like her

look at her and then look at him (prince) wish i had more money.

Re: Saudi

I heard women have been allowed to drive now, it was great being close to Makkah and Madinah but it's pretty boring. You have to be out with a mehram, not many activities for women either.. you're either stuck at your own house or go visit someone else's home. I liked a lot of things about Jeddah.. but hated most of them.

Re: Saudi

did she say in the video ‘i actually encourage it’!!:cb:

Re: Saudi

Those things have more to do with Saudi culture and less with Islam.

Re: Saudi

Do you think she has a choice ?

Re: Saudi

Re: Saudi

Re: Saudi

I know women are allowed to drive within KAUST (King Abdullah University) but I don't think it's been allowed everywhere else yet. It will happen one day, that's for sure.

Re: Saudi

Saudi's are bunch of cave era monkeys, they didn't represent Islam. The End.

Re: Saudi

Every saudi I have ever met in my life while working in the middle east has been a MORON, and dnt respect women at all...they think they can buy you with their money....(including the royal family..but that is natural for them i guess)

The women (and some claim to be from the royal family) take their abayas off the moment they leave SAudi and are on vacation in Switzerland or Dubai...and dnt mind taking numbers from the Europeans that they meet...ofcoz these are jst the ones that I have met!!!

Am sure there are nice and decent ppl too in Saudi...but I have never had the fortune to meet any of them.
