Re: Saudi Youth & Romance via Cell Phones

TAOOOÓO… In the early days of cell phones launched in KSA when they have banned the camera phones, I knew ppl (Saudis) bringing or should I say smugling camera phones mainly from Dubai and selling in KSA for almost double price. And then it started being sold on mobile shops but again with a very high price… I remember when I was coming to Dubai for the first time (from KSA) for a training, many of my friends asked me to buy Cameray Wala Cellphone for them from Dubai…

And Bahrain - Causeway (which you can cross in max 35 minutes - clearing all the formalities) takes hours to cross on the weekends (starting from Wednesdays evenings…) as mostly these Tharkee Saudis go there for Peena-Pilana and etc. etc… I have been to Bahrain many many times and have experienced and witnessed many events…

I have also spent times in Jeddah (around 4 years) in Al Bawadi - Madinah Road that was in early 90’s and I was shocked and surprised to see the corruption and Fohaashi over there - Tauba Allah ki Panah… just dont want to discuss it…

Re: Saudi Youth & Romance via Cell Phones

we all feel good and more comfortable in our musalmaniyat. There are no other issues and problems we need to do much about in our societies.

Re: Saudi Youth & Romance via Cell Phones

why dont they just use the internet?

Re: Saudi Youth & Romance via Cell Phones

^
And be stuck at home or an internet cafe? The kids can go crusing or hangout at restaurants and flirt and be with their friends. Now what sounds more fun?

I found this pretty amusing...

"Men trying to flirt with women often have no idea what they look like, except for eyes that are often elaborately adorned with makeup."

Re: Saudi Youth & Romance via Cell Phones

Ya I suppose ...

Re: Saudi Youth & Romance via Cell Phones

BBC did an expose' on growing dating/sex scene among teenagers in the middle east. One romeo could guage interest by the 'look' in the niqaabi girl's eyes. People find ways to send mating signal and mate regardless of the societal restrictions.

Masha allah. :D

Re: Saudi Youth & Romance via Cell Phones
