“When asked how she could have kids without her husband ever seeing her face, she replied:*** “Marriage is about love, not faces.””*** If you add making b4 or after LOVE it does make sense; interference of face is not necessary in that action:However still cause me & @ her hubby’s bybasi:cb: PS: In given situation The song, “Choom lon hont tery dil yehi khwahish hy” will be "choom lon niqab(veil) tera dil ki yehi…
Re: Saudi woman wants to divorce after husband lifts her veil
This reminds me one of my friend from Peshawar working here in the US. He is a doctor who wants to marry his gori girl friend, but his parents wont let him and they want him to marry pathan girl from Peshawar, but they wont let him see her picture before he marries her. So now he is stuck and doesn't know what to do.

goodnews, could you also add one constructive reply to this thread to compensate for the seven not-so-constructuve replies. I agree this is very strange and even funny, but still let's try not to overdo the sarcasm
Re: Saudi woman wants to divorce after husband lifts her veil
I've read a lot of ridiculous stuff about Saudis, but this is very close to the top of the list. UNBELIEVABLE!
I'd be interested to know where that tradition comes from. It's definitely not Islam, so how did it start?
I am thinking on a different angle, Is it possible that niqaab entered into Islam from this kind of traditions and now lot of people think that niqaab is part of religion, as far as I know only hijaab is required.
If true then what else has entered in religion which was originally just a stupid tradition.
Re: Saudi woman wants to divorce after husband lifts her veil
This is really very nasty of me but I had a thought....this tradition is within a certain small group in a certain small area, yeah? I was thinking that there may perhaps be a plague of horrible ugliness going on there....to the point that they hafta hide it away for all time even from (or especially from!) the hubby!
Re: Saudi woman wants to divorce after husband lifts her veil
Oy yaro, this is tabloid type news, why are you even bothering with this stuff?

Perzactly! If it's so unbelievable then don't believe it. I sure don't believe it. Something like this will need a lot of proof for me to accept it.
More to point it seems like people are trying to develop a public subliminal point by associating niqab with ultra conservatives to the point of impossible lifestyles ... by rejecting the lifestyle one must tacitly reject the accessories it comes with.
