n few weeks ago GR8 first lady of USA laura bush was in SA with her HIJAB educating the saudis about breat cancer and what not. she so conveniently forgot to step on the human rights issue as if everything in SA is rosy and pink. i mean come on, such barbaric laws and punishments and there she was to promote awareness about breast cancer. its a noble step in its own right but lets be realistic. women barely have any rights in SA and who really gives a hoot about them having breast cancer or not. most women hardly get to see Dr or specialists regarding common problems. it was a wasted opportunity on her part. saudis need a real hard kick in their balls to face up to the reality. as long as they have the americans on their side, these barbaric laws and stuff will never be taken seriously.
as for them waking up to the reality, well i don't think it will happen anytime sooner. not in the next 1000 years unless a major revolution takes place in SA, taking care of the royalty. but that too will not happen sadly.
