It depends on severity of lashes. Saudi lashing is administered under a doctor’s vigilance. No chance of anyone dying of it.
Also, the lashes are not inflicted all at the same time.
This man deserved to be executed for raping and killing his own daughter. No amount of blood money or lashes could be enough.
