Their rigid viewpoints on Islam need to go. Their religious police, their rigid clergy, the people of Saudi need to move into 2014 and accept reality. The world is not burqas, beards, and street beatings and stonings.
Extremist in Pakistan will NOT come to an end, until Saudi learns to be a real leader in Islam. People will stop treating each other like s*** once Sauds learn to treat muslims with respect, and that can start in it’s own backyard with how they view minorities like Pakistanis in their countries, and I pray for the day that I can walk into their airport and 1) they actually talk to me, even though I’m a girl and 2) they don’t confiscate my passport and throw it in a bin because they think I’m some animal and don’t deserve to have rights.
Until and unless Saudi fixes it’s attitude, stops funding and training terrorists, gives up it’s world view there will be a caliphate, and just for God’s sakes gets over the fact that there are a people called Shia and learns appropriate coping mechanisms for a group of people that don’t buy into their monarchy (Oh wait that’s also the rest of the sunni world), then all this bs will stop.
Until then, keep on fighting shias and sunnis, and drag down all of muslim civilization with your fighting, even though you two are both muslims and believe in the same word of God.
I have actually boycotted the idea of going there for pilgrimmage. Really, there needs to be a boycott of visiting Saudia Arabia until they can prove they will put a stop to their state sponsored extremism. Regardless of who is paying them to do it.
You should not boycott going there because you are going to seek mercy of Allah, not to ask King Abdullah for a loan. Do not let your dislike for the rulers of the land cause you to give up on a part of Islam which is Hajj. You would be depriving yourself of the good, and harming no one. Being able to go there is a privilege and those who get to perform the pilgrimage are more lucky than words can describe. May Allah invite us all.
As for the first post, then Pakistani heads of state thus far are partners in crime who have never been too shy of accepting; in fact, outright asking for loans with little or no intention of paying it back. Sure others exploit that, which is not very becoming of nations that would be brothers on paper, and ought to be in practice as well. But that doesn't excuse the fact that Pakistani governments have to take the bold steps of saying No to foreign monetary aid, and attempt to become self-sufficient even if that means there is a period of having to do away with the latest of things in terms of luxury.
As long as government does not take on itself the complete responsibility of educating every child to a certain age, and does not make it its' own responsibility to fund each public educational institution, expect others to keep funding agendas.

bad pcg!!
1-Even at the time of pagan arab, arabs were very hospitable to pilgrims.
2-pre oil era, they were extremely, but poor still very hospitable, or you can say did their job very well.
3-they are still doing an awesome job, arranging all that.
So be thank full.
And go for hajj :ASA: or for umra
Actually the money that is made is reinvested in preparation for pilgrims of the coming Hajj. It's a year long event, and preparation does not happen overnight. Petro Dollars are another story. I do believe the Saudi Arabian government spends more on accommodating the pilgrims than it takes as a part of Hajj visa costs. Never do you hear that a pilgrim went there and was not fed, or had to endure harsh living conditions. All of these amenities take money. Nice Chilled air blowing in the plain of Mina costs a lot.
Local business probably thrives, and helps boost the economy though. But to say that local Saudis are funding trouble in other countries would be pretty hard to prove. They're trying to make a living just like a shop keeper in various cities with concentration of tourism in Pakistan who depend on tourists to spend money.

They are merely losing money, but what are you losing in the process?
Another great article. BTW, Balochistan is sitting on natural gas. Another reason why there is probably a lot of war mongering and rebellion in Balochistan and North Waziristan. Wonder who is funding arms and ammo there? Wonder who wants to control Balochistan. And puts a perspective on why China wants to make Gwadar Port. They’re getting ready for the new energy source: natural gas.

Sauidis have been feeding this snake for long time & its impossible to control it now. Btw, I can not wait for the day when this snake devours Saudis themselves & eventually its going to happen.
Googling conspiracy theories at 1 am never leads to anything good. Read theories about how the house of saud and al Wahab were originally Jews and how Wahhabism is a British empire hoax.
Then I clicked on "Kabbala" and man now I am too afraid to sleep. :(
On your boycott and justification for indirect support of extremism using pilgrimage money is not a well thought decision.
Do you know how many ways Shaitaan defeats us. He has wuswaas (doubts, distractions and justifications) crafted for individuals that best suit them. Reflect upon many ayaah in Quran and examples from Hadith and lives of Sahaba and saints.
The monkeys ruling middle-East should not be our reason to not going for Hajj/Umrah. Believe me in the court of Allah, all of our arguments will fail. We need to lookup at Him not these worldly leaders who create these policies for their own throne and nothing else.
