Turks, Saudis ban cruise missile flights

U.S. Navy ships in the Red Sea and Mediterranean Sea have stopped firing cruise missile at Iraq after complaints by Turkey and Saudia Arabia that some of the missiles have fallen on their territories, a Pentagon official said Saturday.

Pentagon officials tell CNN that the U.S. Central Command maybe forced to move the ships from the Mediterranean and Red Sea locations into the Persian Gulf if both Turkey and Saudi Arabia continue the ban.

No. 1 Not much precision-guided missiles, as they are touted.
No. 2 Good thing the over-pass is banned. Let get those Yankees fly them thru Umm Qasr, if they want.

well well well, this is all very new

It would be a disaster for Turkish and Saudi governments if one of the missiles land in populated areas.

This will no doubt increase the US troubles. What other countries can the US fire their missiles over? Where do their bombers take off from?
Is the ban for missiles only?

As far as I know, America is only flying planes from its aircraft carriers, Kuwait, Qatar, and I think Turkey. The rest of the countries have rejected America's request to launch attacks from its soil. These countries include, Saudia Arabia, Oman, etc.
