The Saudis barely took part in anti-Ottoman actions. It was the Hashemites of the Hijaz who were Britain’s loyal puppets. They were rewarded with Thrones in Iraq, Jordan, and Syria after the war.
The Saudis overthrew the Hashemites in the Hijaz, and were then quickly courted by the British and turned into British allies in the mid 1920s.
