Just got a sari from India by Satya Paul, he uses famour artist like pollak, mondrain, mattise to inspire abstrat designs on his saris..very cool! http://www.satyapaul.com/main.html see inspirational saris

Thanks for the link Amelie! What sari did you get? How was the quality? I really love the prints, especially the inspiration artist designs. They’re awesome! What’s your recommendation on them? Lastly, did you order it, or did someone bring one for you? Thanks in advance.

My husband was in delhi and was able to buy/pick it from the boutique directly. I got one similiar to the Pollack black with red/orange print on it in crepe. I love it...we got 2 others for family and they all are really pretty...different.

Satya Paul is to be in NY soon for some fundraises...i'll bet he'll have some shows/sales here too.
