I am an SNL addict. I have watched almost all of the shows from when Chevy Chase aired the fiirst one 26 years ago to the latest season.
So here is the thing. Who ever watched 'em, how about discussing your favourite Actors on SNL, your favourite charecter and even the movies of SNL actors who made it big!
For me, my favourite time in SNl was when there was Adam Sandler, Phil Hartman, Chris Farley, Dennis Miller, Victoria Jackson and last but not least Rob Snider on the team!
I think that was the best team ever. My favourite has to be Adam Sandler and from the older cast I think Bill Murray, Steve Martin and Dan Akroyd were the best.
My favourite charecters are Oprah Man (Adam), Two wild and crazy guys (Dan and Steve) and The ladies Man ( Tim Meadows).
The most memorable moment, when Sinead O Connor tore up the Popes photo when performing..
And last but not least! Norm Mc Donald was the best weekend update host!
And one more thing i would like to add! I hate Lauren Micheal, I think he was the one Chris Farley did the drug over dose and killed himself! He is just a snob SOB!

Lorne michael is a lamer.
I am an SNL fan but feel that their quality has been pretty awful. The days of belushi and akroyd etc were classic, butI enjoyed the renaissance with spade, farley, sandler, lovitz, miller and company..those were some episodes.
I always liked operaman and all the characters played by sandler.
One of my all time fav skit is when johnlovitz is lying to mick jagger's wife about him writing all the songs and later mick jagger picking up on his lies and telling his wife that he was out with lovitz the night he did not come home as they were working on songs..."yeaah thats the ticket"

I especially liked the episode when the dice man was on SNL.
I am a big fan fan of SNL, I just started watching couple years back,I watched ome old tapes of SNL and I agree with with Fraudia, the classic ones were much hillarious with Spade, Sandler, Farley. Nowdays the show has gone down to more stupidity competing with Mad TV.

As for movies, I think all the Adam Sandler movies were great. People might find it wierd but I love the Water Boy, Happy Gilmore, billy madison and happy Gilmore... Even Little Nicky. chris Farley movies were also great.
I think the worst movies were the ones done by the newest cast, like Super star, the night at the roxburry and the ladies man! I mean those were greatt charecters, leonn phelps is my favourite charecter lekin those movies were bad!
Another movie I forget was the Deuce Bigelow, now that movie was awesome! Cant wait to watch The Animal now...
