Manama: Leaders of all major Arab states have demanded an emergency session of the Arab League after it was revealed that the first man on the moon from the Arab world is in fact, a foreign worker. The individual has been named as a Mr. Kim, a Korean toilet cleaner, employed by the Joint Arab Space Program (JASP).
This discovery has come into light after a local paper published close up pictures of the first Arab man on the moon. In the picture, an astronaut, dressed in traditional Arab garb is seen standing on the moon. Closer inspection of the image reveals the fact that the subject clearly resembles Mr. Kim - his cleaning bucket and broom lying close to the landing craft. Mr. Kim, who works at the Arab worlds state-of-the-art and no expense spared space facility in Manama, has been missing from work ever since the launch of this historic mission.
Although details are a little sketchy at this point in time however, according to local sources, the switch occurred at the behest of the original Saudi Astronaut for this mission, Prince Ahmed Al Khalili. Mr. Kim was “requested” to take his position in the craft when the Prince had, what experts are now describing as, an uncontrolled “crisis of moral fiber” (cowardice)
The Korean embassy in Manama refused to comment on this situation, which could easily blow into a huge political crisis. Privately, some Western diplomats described the unusual circumstances in which led to Mr. Kim being sent to the Moon, without any formal training. According to these sources, prior to launch Mr. Kim was busy cleaning the toilets aboard the Space craft ( ArabPride 0.1 ), when due to a “clerical error”, he was “accidentally” assigned the job of an astronaut on Prince Ahmed’s insistence.
The Saudi Arabian Ministry of Labour has described the incident as unfortunate, but insisted that the kingdom would continue to hire foreign workers for essential services. It further added that although this incident is regretted, it is the right of all Arab citizens to hire lowly paid workers to do such high-risk tasks. In the Arab world, such tasks can include making tea, picking up garbage on the streets, building roads, 1 storey houses and cleaning cars, closely followed by assignments such as “historic once in a lifetime” landings on the moon.

As millions of excited Arabs gathered in town centers in the Arab world to watch live pictures of this event, many couldn’t help asking themselves, why the man was Korean when even cheaper workers from Bangladesh and Thailand were available. Hanan Al Bidaya, a well known housewife from Kuwait, when interviewed by this correspondent, tearfully proclaimed that it was a proud day for the Arab nations and Israelis should tremble in their respective pants. She further claimed that if the call came, no Arab man, woman or baby would hesitate to sacrifice his/her favourite Sri Lankan slave/housemaid for this cause!!

When interviewed later Prince Ahmed, the Crown Prince of Saudi Arabia and one of Arab worlds leading personalities, was unrepentant and downright rude. He dismissed claims, clear pictures and other incontrovertible proof as a fabrication by the Oil jealous, Anti Arab and pro Zionist lobby in North and South Korea. He further added that "We Arab are a proud race and I see no reason why I should fly this thing to the moon when we can easily hire lowly paid workers to do the same job! – “WHY should I risk my fine body when I can stay home and watch the event on TV?” The interview ended when the Prince excitedly told us that he had to go to work on his next project - the projects name? “First Arab Manned Mission to the Sun”
