nono, I think people are confused by your question.
What kind of patti are you after? The plain satin pattis the tailors put on the duputtas are just regular satin, dyed, cut and stitched. Same for banarsi and other pattis usually.
If you mean lace pattis (by lace I mean anything from specially made banarsi pattis to sequins, diamates, lace, crochet, pattis with embroidery done on them), they are available everywhere in Lahore where ever you find clothes shops nearby.
In Lahore, Liberty has loads, just ask any shop keeper to direct you to them.

thanx...yes the simple plain pattis which r common in these days on shirts borders and dupatas..so it available in almost all colours or i have to dye it?

^Some colours may be available but usually some white satin is purchased and dyed to the exact shade you want.
Some people do all this themselves and give it to the tailor, just as they would piping or laces. My tailor (has to be this way since I live abroad) does it all for me but then he charges accordingly.
