Satan

remember all those scary stories revolving Shaitan. We don’t hear much of him anymore, how comes?

Or have we formed a more realistic, logical view of this devil? So it is no longer used to engrave fear in our hearts. :@:

Re: Satan

Peace philosophy

On the contrary … Ugliness is an acquired taste; no longer is Satan feared, but worshipped - that is the state of society.

Re: Satan

With the spread of knowledge and science a lot of our myths (or traditional beliefs if you will) are no longer primary concerns. our age as given us more confidence in dealing with bad powers.

plus the new communication age has given us more than ever new ways of learning other cultures and diversity which has given us more realistic and less biased outlook of our own.

some day in the future we all will not believe in shaitan, instead we will just fear god.

personally i dont even believe in shaitan, as in my culture there is nothing called shaitan or anything equivalent to it. hence no scary stories of shaitan from my childhood :), there is only god and just god

Re: Satan

is that what I asked?? Seriously arghhh.

Re: Satan

The world is evolving and people are getting educated and are getting more intrested in other matters, so they dont have time to make Scary stories anymore of Shaitan. Apart from leaving Shaitan, people are also paying less or no attention to the mystical side of Islam as well

Re: Satan

I can not help but ask:

1) where did you hear/read the stories about Satan?
2) what is more realistical and logical view have you formed of Satan?

On a different note, I think it's a great achievment and the most powerful and biggest trick of Satan that he has played, viz; he makes people believe that he does not exist in reality.

Re: Satan

People don't need to fear Satan when God himself is constantly trying to scare everyone.
