Why Desi Ammas keep on taunting girls ‘ae laRki sasuraal jaa kar to tu hamen ulta seedha sunwae gi’?

Why they don’t motivate girls directly for a good thing rather than threatening them and creating a bad image of sasuraal before time.

I want to discuss cultural aspect of the perception ‘aurat hi aurat ki dushman hoti hai’.

Do Non-Desi aunties ask such things to their daughters about their sasuraal?

well, in-laws relation are quite same in every culture, even American MIL’s expect things from her DIL. Yes, they dont live together under one roof, but they want certain things in her DIL.

So yes, little bit family politics happens but not that much as we south asian do.

Well I think its ok to remind girls that they won't always stay with their parents and will be treated like a princess, Thats why sometimes it's good to taunts and push them to learn something.
And zahir hai bad Mai maikay ka naam hi aye ga ke maa ne kuch sikhaya hi nahi.

Too much of indirect approach. I have observed Desi women taunting and saying ulta seedha to their daughters and infact the target is jethani / devranai or Saas / Nand

this is purely girly question, and girl can answer it.

did you saw the drama aired on Hum tv. i think durre shahwar, if you noticed her father constantly brain washed her. the thing which she did not learn during her luxurious life was taught by her father while she stepped in real life.

I think it is better to teach them before they enter in practical life. how would they feel? it depends on larki to larki, some are more patient while some of them feel bad. but whatever they feel, it is something which their parents want for their betterment.
