SAS Training in Toronto

Dear fellow gupps,

can someone recommend a fairly decent institute for SAS training in TO, I dont want to go to the official company since they are v expensive.

Also any websites where I can learn basics myself would be great.

Thanks in advance

Re: SAS Training in Toronto

Instructor-led training for SAS is going to be pretty expensive in the Toronto area. I looked into this a couple of years back.
As an alternative, there are various online options for this, including directed training by "experts" in different countries, or self-guided training based on material and software that will be provided online.

Re: SAS Training in Toronto

is it product? I believe it is software as service thing. :konfused: can you please put some light so I could understand this thing. I heard a lot about it.

Re: SAS Training in Toronto

^ its an analytics and business intelligence software suite with comprehensive 4GL data warehouse & data mining capabilities. That's the simplest I can explain it. It's a competing product for IBM Cognos if you're familiar with it (that's the solution I've worked with most).

Re: SAS Training in Toronto

You are mixing it with SaaS ’ software as a service ’ or on demand software !

Re: SAS Training in Toronto

thanks Lucid. I looked into couple of institutes in TO, they are offering it at fraction of the proper SAS course offered by parent company. I am not sure how good those ones are, I had an interview that requires SAS, so lets see…
Any useful resources you know online? I came across

Thanks.
