did anyone see The telefilm dhokaybiizan starting sana and Sarmad Khoosat .

Sarmad did a pretty good job. Has he started to act as well ? I wonder if he directed the telefilm on humtv.

Remember Sarmad is the director of Humsafar.

Sarmad has been acting for a while now, nowadays he's on dil muhalay ki haveli!

I saw it and didn't like his acting at all. He has acted before too. I think he is a horrible actor.

What's up everyone wanting to act these days...directors, producers.....their kids. there are many superb actors but some who i think get the roles bc of connections.

I thought sana was looking like an aunty...mother of 3 school age kids. Sarmad is not a great actor and I would rather than his work behind the scenes.

I suppose everyone and their relatives have the acting bug.

I'm not too fond of javed Shaikhs and Behroz subzwaris sons acting either. I really they are getting roles Bc of their fathers connection.

Behroz Subzwaris dil - Syra yousuf khan on the other hand is a very good actress.

I don't like Syraa Yusuf's acting either. And you are right about star kids. Most of them can't act. In because of their parents.

@sprial - you don't like Syra Yusuf acting? I think she is really doing a great job in ru baru.

Personally I like Sanam Balouch and Saba Qamar, Sanam Saeed, Sania Saeed and Amina Shaikh. I think they can do a lot of different roles and aren't typecast.

Sumbul Iqbal and Sajjal Ali do the same type of acting in every role .

People here forget that Sarmad Khoosat intact started out as an actor. I mean does anyone remember the drama by the name of 'Shashlek' It aired in either 2002 or 2001 or in between.

My comment was precisely directed towards those who seem to incite that Sarmad has hopped on the bandwagon of acting when that is definitely not the case, since he had never left that arena completely.

He is okay...definitely not eye candy but he is good as an awkard, geeky type Pakistani dude. This guy more reflective of the average Pakistani dude- looks wise.

I kind of like his getup in Mera yaqeen. Is tha drama any good or it's just depressing? Anybody watch it?

As far as acting is concerned, Sarmad Khoosat is a very good 'actor', he is brilliant when he's doing a complex and negative roles. He doesn't have typical chocolate boy looks, but very few good looking guys can do insecure, cold, frustrated and passive aggressive characters like he does.

I agree with star kids domination, sad thing is, most of them have zero screen presence.

I think Faizan Khawaja might be an exception. He is the son of producer/ distributor who was raised in Houston. His Urdu is very good.
