I am contemplating wearing a sari in December for my youngest sister’s wedding.
Should I do long sleeves? Or short or 3/4 or elbow length?
I am liking the idea of the long sleeved blouse a lot but want to make sure its not cumbersome along with the obvious cumbersome-ness of wearing a sari.
I don’t want to wear a short blouse…this will be a full blouse but I was hoping to do lace sleeves. Will that look odd?

Sari blouses look good in short sleeves, or sleeveless or halter in my opinion. Long sleeved blouses would look good if you have long skinny arms.
any good fall wala kapra works for saris, like chiffon, lightweight silk, soft net/lace chantilly. Shamoos silk/short silk.

If the sari is already heavy and busy, I would go for a tight ¾ sleves blouse (With the heavy sari, plain silk/raw silk would be better), though long sleve is so versatile, it will look good anyway.
If the sari is plainer then go for long sleeves (Churidhaar) and probably a brocade/jamavaar material which I personally love.
And for a Dec winter wedding, long selves will look great. I don’t think it should be cumbersome as long as the blouse fits like a glove. If it’s loose then you end up pulling and tuggin.

I've worn a sari with 3/4 sleeves and it was very flattering, plus I had the full blouse too so it kinda went with the look. But yeah, if the sari is heavy, keep the blouse simple.

u can have FRENCH NET CHORRIDAR SLEEVES or have shafoon sleeves it will look stunning
