i was given a sky blue sari with light silver sequin work. The blouse is unstitched and it’s got a simple border around the sleeves and neckline. However I was thinking it may be fun to go to the fabric store and find a hot pink or fuchsia color or even a red brocaded fabric to have a blouse made out of. Maybe that way I can have two blouses to change it up now and then? What do yall think? would a contrasting fabric work, and would such a vibrant color go or would it look like a mess bc it doesn’t go with the outfit?

Sky blue would look good with the saree but here are some more ideas for you
or if you want to change the complete look of saree , you could get a hot pink pati stitched under the borders of saree , and wear it with a jamawar hot pink blouse

I say you keep it as is. From the description of the saaree, it seems very elegant and u might not wanna mess with the look. But if u really absolutely wanna play around woth it, the above suggestion sounds good.
