I need some opinions/advice from the fashion experts of gupshup …
My sister in law’s wedding is coming up and it will be the first wedding that my husband and I would be attending as a married couple. I want our outfits to match so I was thinking of wearing a black saree on walima. I want something simple so I was going to get a plain black net saree made with red lace and black sequin border like the one from teri ore. I always thought it was elegant and simple yet quite eye catching. My husband could wear a black suit with a red shirt to go with it. The problem is that I am afraid we may end up blending in together in photos. The wedding will be out in the garden at night time so if we are standing together and both are wearing black one wouldn’t be able to tell where my saree ends and his suit starts. Does anyone else think that this could be a problem?
I also have another saree in mind. Off white saree with black velvet embroidery on the border and a black velvet blouse. He could wear a black suit with an off white shirt to go with it. Just google ‘anushka sharma saree’ to see what I am talking about.
So, what do you all think???
If anyone has any other ideas of sarees that are simple (no heavy embroidery, chamak dhamak etc) please let me know …
